Prescription Drug Survey December 2014

Prescription drug survey: 'Too many medicines, not enough health'

BBC Report: 10 December 2014 ... Men and women in England are being "over-treated and over-diagnosed", a doctor has claimed.

Results from the comprehensive Health Survey for England found that half of women and 43% of men in England are now regularly taking prescription drugs.

Dr Clare Gerada, a GP, told the BBC that a culture of "too many medicines and not enough health" had developed.

Primal Food Store says;

Doctors are NOT God, they are human, they make mistakes, they sometimes ignore common sense and follow blindly the guidance given to them by a corrupt drug industry. An obsession with political correctness has resulted in over 50 million prescriptions for anti-depressant drugs in the UK each year - even to children as young as 8 years old. And over 8 million people in the UK are now swallowing Statin drugs, a recent 'innovation' that directly interferes with the natural production of cholesterol - a healing fat that is critically important for maintaining human health. The brain contains more cholesterol than any other organ in the body ... Unfortunately, Doctors don't get told that in Medical School. Big Food manufacturers have been allowed to legally sell fake butter spreads that they claim are 'clinically proven' to lower cholesterol ... but that is NOT what Nature intended should happen, we need cholesterol to keep us alive and well!

But please do not blame any of these people, they are all in business to make money, not make you healthier. The real culprits are those consumers who have allowed themselves to lose all control of their common sense and ability to use any logical thought process. Sadly these people can no longer think for themselves, weigh up the evidence and take personal responsibility for their health and wellness. Ultimately it is the responsibility of the individual to decide what drug they accept from a Doctor, and what food they place in their shopping basket - at the end of the day they must accept the blame for record levels of diet and lifestyle related illnesses.
